Electronic Arts has officially released the Battlefield 6 roadmap for 2026, outlining a structured plan of seasonal updates that will introduce new maps, gameplay features, and major improvements across the year.

The roadmap focuses on expanding large-scale warfare, bringing back classic content, and adding long-requested features from the community.


Season 3 (May 2026): Classic Maps and Ranked Play Arrive

Season 3 kicks off the 2026 roadmap with a strong focus on nostalgia and competitive gameplay.

Players can expect:

Railway to Golmud – the largest map in Battlefield 6
Cairo Bazaar – a modern rework of the classic Grand Bazaar
Ranked Play launch
Battle Royale Solos mode

This season blends returning fan-favorite maps with new competitive features, marking a major step forward for the game’s progression systems.


Season 4 (July 2026): Naval Warfare Expands the Battlefield

Season 4 shifts the focus toward large-scale warfare across land, air, and sea.

Key additions include:

Tsuru Reef (new large-scale map)
Wake Island returning
Naval Warfare with aircraft carriers and naval vehicles
Dynamic wave system
Custom Lobbies and Spectator Mode
